LSNYC Mourns the Tragic Loss of Beloved Colleague, Dennis Sanchez

It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we mourn the sudden loss of our friend and colleague, Dennis Sanchez, who passed away earlier this week. Dennis was a Senior Paralegal in the Housing Unit at Manhattan Legal Services and beloved by all who knew him.
“Dennis was an unforgettable man who wore many titles: father, grandpa, son, cousin, uncle, friend,” his family said. “Regardless of what role he played in your life, the impact he has left with us all is something that will never fade. His voice and words could calm the biggest of storms. The love you have left us all with will continue to grow right where you planted. Until we all meet again.”
“Dennis was a wonderful human being with a huge heart,” said Peggy Earisman, Project Director of Manhattan Legal Services. “We will miss him dearly.”
“Dennis exemplified being a bright light in the world. He was so kind, thoughtful, and just amazing to be around. This is a a tremendous loss,” said Melissa Banks, a colleague and friend.
Dennis is survived by his three children, D’lijah, Bryce, & Emani, as well as his grandson, Daelyn. His family and friends will gather to pay respects & show their love on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 3-8pm at Williams Funeral Home. More details here.
