Nadia K. Hernandez

Nadia K. Hernandez is the Interim Project Director of Queens Legal Services. She joined LSNYC as Director of the Family Law and Domestic Violence Unit in the Staten Island office, where she later served as Deputy Project Director and, for six years, as Project Director, guiding staff through extraordinary periods of growth and change. Prior to LSNYC, she worked at the New York Legal Assistance Group representing domestic violence survivors in matrimonial, family law and immigration matters. She also worked at The Door’s Legal Services Center representing unaccompanied minors facing expedited removal proceedings. Nadia is the first Latina to sit on LSNYC’s Senior Leadership Team. She graduated from Saint Peter’s University and New York Law School. She is a Whole Person Certified Coach, pursuing her International Coaching Federation credentials.
