GET HELP RECOVERING FROM HURRICANE IDA 

Currently, New York residents of Bronx, Kings, Nassau, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk, and Westchester counties are eligible to receive federal disaster assistance by FEMA due to severe rain and flooding with Hurricane Ida. Renters and homeowners can get financial assistance to help with rent, temporary housing, home repair, direct housing, replacing personal property, funeral expenses, child care and more. Disaster Recovery Centers are located across the city (see locations here). Individuals seeking help should visit:

NEW: Undocumented immigrants can now also receive assistance beginning Monday, September 27, 2021 though funds allocated to local non-profits. People may call the ONA Hotline at 1-800-566-7636 9:00am to 8:00pm, Monday through Friday or visit the partner not-for-profits on ny.gov/Ida.
