Our Honorees
Staten Island Family Justice Center
An initiative of the Mayor's Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence the NYC Family Justice Center in Staten Island (SIFJC) is a multiservice center operated by ENDGBV that provides case management, economic empowerment, counseling, civil legal, and criminal legal assistance all under one roof. The SIFJC opened on Staten Island in June of 2016 and has provided vital services and support to over 4,200 survivors of domestic and gender-based violence. With over 15,000 visits by clients to the SIFJC in two and half years the Center has made it easier for survivors and their children to connect to the 15 on-site community based organizations and city agencies who work collaboratively together at the SIFJC.
