LSNYC and Lambda Legal Present Marriage Equality Trainings (10/3 and 10/13)

Legal Services NYC and Lambda Legal are pleased to announce upcoming trainings on the Impact of the New York State Marriage Equality Act on Couples and Families with Low or No Income. 

This trainings will be  comprehensive overviews of the legal rights and protections afforded by marriage under the New York State Marriage Equality Act for couples and families with low or no income.

The class on October 3, 2011, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. is designed primarily for attorneys  ($120). There will be a training on Thursday, October 13, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., that is designed for non-attorney advocates and intake specialists (No Cost).

CLE Credits: Ethics and Professionalism: 0.50; Areas of Professional Practice: 2.50

  •  Social Security

These trainings and series of fact sheets on the topic are a joint collaboration between Legal Services NYC and Lambda Legal.
